Detox Cleansing Oil

Color-Change Technology
The formula for our oil cleanser features Charcoal, which gives the detox oil its initial black color. Upon application, with increased surface area available to absorb toxins, Charcoal’s detoxifying powers really go to work. Alongside Charcoal, the formula includes Polysorbate 20—a sugar that brings our Color-Change Technology to life. When this hydrophilic sugar molecule meets the oils on your face, a creamy-white, cleansing emulsion is created. This detox oil works best when paired with the cleansing bar of your choice, as part of Dr. Laszlo’s signature Double Cleanse Method.

Gently massage the oil cleanser in small circular motions on dry skin. Use the detox oil on its own to cleanse skin, or follow with the cleansing bar of your choice as part of your Double Cleanse Method (recommended). Rinse skin and pat dry. Use morning and night. Specially formulated for dull, congested skin in need of a deep-clean detox.

Double Cleanse Method
When you use our cleansing oils with our cleansing bars, you get the perfect double cleanse. The nourishing oil grips excess skin surface oil, makeup, and other oily impurities without stripping your complexion of precious moisture. Next, the water-based bar removes any remaining residue, gently cleansing without drying.

Charcoal is known to detoxify by chemically binding to and absorbing impurities and oils from skin. When activated, its detoxifying power goes into hyper-drive as it dissolves makeup and oils on the skin's surface. Charcoal is a great way to detox oily skin.

Shea Butter Seedcake Extract, Benefit: Protecting + Soothing
Shea Butter Seedcake Extract is rich in gallic acid and epigallocatechin gallate, which both help remove toxic metals. This active helps protect against certain chemical pollutants, including nicotine, chlorine, and heavy metals from urban pollution, while also soothing and improving the appearance of tired, dull skin.

Grape Seed Oil + Olive Oil + Jojoba Oil, Benefit: Nourishing
These botanical oils serve to nourish the skin. Grape Seed Oil is rich in anti-aging compounds, including essential fatty acids, polyphenols, beta-carotene, and vitamins D, C and E. Derived from European-grown olives, the Olive Oil in this formula has been filtered and highly refined to deliver nourishing benefits. Jojoba Oil, a polyunsaturated liquid wax similar to our own skin-protecting sebum, supports skin with high oxidative stability. 

Spring Sea Water, Benefit: Moisturizing
This uniquely moisturizing water comes from Brittany, France. Being rich in minerals and trace elements, Spring Sea Water is a natural source of vitality.
