We’re the first to admit that ingredient labels can be difficult to navigate. So in the spirit of full transparency, here’s a list of our ingredients and the reasons why we use them in our formulations. As we continue to evolve and innovate we shall always ensure you have access to the best products.

ALCOHOL

ANIMAL TESTING

We have never tested our ingredients or final formulations on animals, and we have no intention of doing so in future. To ensure the efficacy of our products, every ingredient is carefully considered so that it meets our high standards of quality, safety and effectiveness. While we are committed to avoiding testing on animals, we acknowledge that in some jurisdictions both the formulations and ingredients may have been tested by government affiliates. We continue to lobby for change in these practices as we believe cosmetic industry has a responsibility to protect the well-being of animals. Our team in Shanghai meets regularly with the relevant government authorities and under the new China CSAR regulations there are specific criteria and guidelines that allow for certain qualifying products to be exempted from animal testing. We continue to work with our partners to meet all these guidelines and are confident that this collaborative approach will lead to a significant reduction in required government testing in the future.
