Our Phelityl Emulsion enhances skin’s physical and chemical barrier protection through Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) and Antioxidants. Because this water-based, fluid formulation is thinner than other moisturizing creams, the dual-acting formula effortlessly absorbs into the skin. The EFAs in this formula play a key role in enhancing the structural integrity of the skin’s barrier. Red Ginseng has been shown in lab testing to have Antioxidant and soothing activity, while vitamin E is known to protect skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Phelityl Emulsion’s moisturizing benefits are driven by our scientifically-formulated blend of ingredients. Our Phelityl Complex is made up of plant-derived Antioxidants and Essential Fatty Acids. These botanical, hydrophobic moisturizers help stimulate skin’s lipid activity, thereby fortifying skin’s natural barrier and minimizing water loss. Hydrophobic moisturizers work to form a film on the skin's surface, reducing trans epidermal water loss (TEWL).
Linoleic Acid (Omega 6): This Essential Fatty Acid (EFA) is required for moisture regulation and epidermis restructuring.
Linolenic Acid (Omega 3): Also known as vitamin F, this EFA is vital for a properly-functioning skin barrier.
Oleic Acid (Omega 9): While this isn’t an EFA, because the body can produce it, it is critical to the functioning of skin’s moisture barrier.
